We are a one-stop shop caterer for your big or small events, plus we can help your organization raise money through BBQ fundraisers!
The purpose of this BBQ fundraiser is to provide funds to EXCEL Academy, the alternative school in Henry County, which is a Title 1 school for students with discipline issues and who are not successful in a regular school environment. We are not supported or funded like a typical school because we are considered an educational program. We are raising funds to provide students and teachers with needed supplies and to provide a range of educational opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. These orders are only for pickup, starting at 3pm on Friday, Feb 6, on our campus at 330 Tomlinson St, McDonough, GA 30252. 22% of this fundraiser will be donated to Excel Acadamy for their exclusive use from Veganslayer BBQ.
To ensure your meat, sandwich, or plate is available on Feb 6, it is wise to pre-order, especially the whole pork butts and briskets. Only a couple extra will be available on Feb 6. There will be a limited amount of everything else to sell à la carte on the day of. You can pay by credit card, cash, or digital payment such as Venmo or cashapp.
Vegan Slayer BBQ is often confused with Vegan BBQ and that can't be farther from the truth. Actually, the story behind the name just happened by chance one night. In talking with a group of friends (one of whom was vegan) about the Vegan lifestyle, the discussion turned towards how meat fat can make him sick pretty quick. Someone joked that a meat fat must be like kryptonite to a vegan. And then, all in good fun, the phrase Vegan Slayer BBQ was born. I enjoy cooking with love and time and doing things the purist way. True cooking takes time, and taste better with pure ingredients! And life is too short to eat bland food, so come try our food at an event or hire us for your next event, you will have people talking for weeks afterwards!
I enjoy catering and "throwing down" with whole hog bbq, beast feasts, fundraisers, and coming up with new ways to deliver taste in bbq. I travel quite a bit on the weekends, so I also have come up with a line of jerky, snack sticks, bbq rub and sauce.
